What to Make of Tab Trade - Launched March 2026, Here Is the Deal

TabTrade — What It Is

Tab Trade went live in March 2026. Trading platform incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.

The BlackBull connection tells you something. It suggests the founder has actually done this before. That is not a guarantee. But preferable to a random name you cannot trace.

TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same facilities prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage leads with marketing and bonuses. TabTrade led with infrastructure. Unusual for a new broker.

Market coverage: forex, stock indices, metals, commodities, stock CFDs, crypto, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker that is a few months old, the breadth is broad.

What You Trade On

They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Two major platforms from a single account. Most brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Having both matters. Use whichever you prefer.

MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, massive community. If you know MetaTrader previously, there are no surprises.

cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. Many people like it better than MT5 once they try it.

FIX API is there for algo traders but requires the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is said to be on the roadmap. That will make the platform set once it is live.

Accounts and Pricing

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. Zero commission. Straightforward. $0 to start. Works for anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is good for an offshore broker. Most brokers that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. Tab Trade does not.

VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not relevant to typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you move real size.

Execution Speed

The execution is where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix data centres. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. The average platform operate at 100ms to 300ms.

Does this affect you? If you scalp, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, you will not notice. What matters is the infrastructure is there. That says something about priorities.

Combine those fill times with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the total package is strong. Few brokers with no minimum deposit run Equinix connectivity.

Regulation

Here is the thing that requires honesty. Tab Trade is licensed by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No FCA. No government-backed safety net. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a dealbreaker, stop reading. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.

That said. The person running it built his career at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is expensive. Scam brokers do not invest in Equinix connectivity. None of this guarantee anything. But inform your decision.

What you are accepting: no FCA or ASIC safety net. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether that works comes down to your priorities.

Deposit Bonus

TabTrade has a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Standard sign-up bonus. You deposit, the broker credit extra capital. The normal fine print: turnover conditions before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Read the conditions before funding.
